Care Career is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 48 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Shift & Schedule: 12-hour day shifts, 3 shifts per week. 48-hour weeks preferred.

Weekly Hours: 36 or 48 hours; 48 hours preferred.

Contract Length: 13 weeks Call/Weekend/Holiday Requirements: Floating required as needed.

Requirements: Active South Dakota RN license or compact nursing license in hand. BLS certification required. EPIC experience required. Must be willing to float as needed. Flu vaccination documentation required. Personal and medical flu declinations are not accepted. Religious exemptions are subject to review by Avera Health. Former permanent employees of Avera or Sanford are not eligible.

Patient ratio: 1:4.

Responsibilities: Provide nursing care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients. Monitor patient conditions and recognize changes in clinical status. Provide telemetry monitoring and respond to cardiac rhythm changes. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. Document patient care using EPIC. Float to other units as required.
