Job Description & Requirements Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: 11/30/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) - Progressive Care Neuro Trauma Unit Information This position is within a Progressive Care Neuro Trauma unit with the following characteristics: Number of Beds: 23 Number of Staff: 9 Staffing Model: Day Shift: 6-7 RNs; 2 Aides Night Shift: 6-7 RNs; 2 Aides Patient Ratios: 4:1 Type of Equipment: Bedside monitors, End tidal O2 monitoring, high flow, chronic vents, Subdural drains Electronic Medical Record System: Meditech Responsibilities The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, including: Monitoring and documenting patient conditions using bedside equipment and EMR. Administering medications and ensuring patient safety. Performing various procedures, including chest tubes and EEGs. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement personalized care plans.

Qualifications Candidates should possess the following skills and qualifications: Required: Telemetry experience Step-down care experience ACLS & BLS certifications Preferred: Neuro experience Trauma experience Work Environment This position includes floating to all inpatient units, including ICU and ED. The dress code entails professional scrubs with no specific color requirements. Staff are expected to work weekends every other week.
