The role involves working in a fast-paced environment and providing high-quality patient care to a diverse population.

Job Details Unit: Emergency Room Shift Length: 12 hours Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Years of Experience Required: Minimum 2 years Certifications Required: ACLS, BLS Certification, NIHSS, PALS Patient Volume: Approximately 250 visits per day Patient Ratios: 2:1/4:1 Common Diagnoses: STEMI, Cardiac, Sepsis, Alcohol Withdrawal, Stroke, DKA, and various others Responsibilities Provide direct patient care in a busy emergency setting. Coordinate with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient management. Monitor and assess patient conditions effectively. Participate in all aspects of patient care, including treatment and disposition planning. Support the charge nurse and collaborate with medical staff, including physicians and mid-level providers.

Additional Information Orientation: 1 day of floor-specific orientation available.

Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend required; includes Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Holiday Requirements: Must be willing to work during holidays as part of the permanent staff rotation.

Scrub Colors: RN - Blue, Techs - Green Emergency Room Features: 24 patient beds, private room availability for behavior concerns.

Emergency Services Support: RT, Pharmacy, and Phlebotomists available 24/7.

Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of ER nursing experience; trauma experience preferred. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment. Effective communication and critical thinking skills.
