Nursing practices are based on evidence and current research as well as hospital and department policies and procedures, regulatory standards, and professional guidelines. Clinical decision-making incorporates all four phases of the nursing process, critical thinking, and creativity. Nursing excellence is promoted through helping relationships among nursing staff and across other disciplines.

Responsibilities include coordinating, ensuring, and providing direct patient care activities on the unit through nursing rounds, assessments, treatments, facilitating admission, transfer, and discharge activities, patient and family-centered education, care coordination, and individualized treatment planning. Required Qualifications: - No prior experience required. - Proficiency in administering medications, performing medical procedures such as wound care and IV therapy, and utilizing medical equipment and technology.

- Strong assessment skills, critical thinking abilities, and the capacity to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. - Effective, clear, and respectful communication skills (both verbal and written). - Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and provide clear explanations to patients and families.

- Deep understanding of medical terminology, disease processes, and healthcare regulations. - Empathy and adaptability to meet the complex needs of patients while upholding professional standards. Required Education: - ADN or ASN.

Preferred Education: - BSN. Required Certifications & Licensure: - Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable state. - BLS, ACLS, NIHSS.
