The selected candidate will provide high-quality care to patients during labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery.

Unit Details Unit Type: Labor and Delivery (L&D)

Number of L&D Beds: 14 Operating Room Suites: 2 on postpartum side Triage Beds: Conducted in the labor and delivery unit Postpartum Beds: 0 Births per Day: Average of 3-4, approximately 1,100 per year AWHONN Guidelines: Ratios follow AWHONN guidelines Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to patients during labor and delivery. Assess patient condition and make necessary interventions. Assist with inductions, cesarean deliveries, and manage antepartum patients with complications. Monitor fetal status using advanced electronic fetal monitoring systems. Titrate drips including Pitocin, insulin, and magnesium as required. Collaborate with the healthcare team including in-house OB/Neonatologists. Participate in patient education and provide emotional support to families.

Qualifications Experience: Minimum of 2 years of current Labor and Delivery nursing experience.

Required Certifications: NRP, ACLS, BLS, Advanced Fetal Monitoring.

Skills: Competence in managing complex obstetrical patients and emergencies.

Work Schedule Shift Length: 12 hours Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Weekend Requirement: 1 shift every other weekend Holiday Requirement: 1 major holiday and 2 minor holidays Call Requirement: 1 on-call shift every 2 weeks Dress Code Team members will be provided with light blue scrubs for each shift.
