Every other weekend required. On-call may be required for low census. Floating between units as needed.

Highlights: 8-bed LDRP unit providing Level I Maternity Services and Level I Newborn care for patients 36 weeks gestation and above Full spectrum care including triage, antepartum, labor, delivery, postpartum, and nursery care, plus post-surgical GYN patients Two dedicated operating rooms for cesarean sections with surgical tech support 108-bed short-term acute care facility with Epic charting system Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams Reduced non-billable orientation hours for this position Requirements: Active Registered Nurse license (Compact license accepted) Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience BLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate certifications required AWHONN Advanced and STABLE certifications preferred Required skills: Baby friendly protocols, circulate for C-section, LDRP, sterile vaginal exam, triage of obstetrical patients, use of external fetal monitoring, wound assessment/care Preferred skills: Level I Nursery, recognition and treatment of abnormal fetal heart rate patterns, spiral electrode placement, use of internal fetal monitoring Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day) Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years required Why Join Us?
