This role requires working with critically ill patients and necessitates a strong foundation in critical care nursing.

Unit Information Number of Beds: 16 Staffing: 45 All Registered Nurses Nurse to Patient Ratio: 2:1 Equipment Used: GE monitors, EV 1000, Hemispheres, CRRT (NextStage), Impella, Swan Ganz, Arterial lines, Chest tubes, Ventilators Electronic Medical Record System: Meditech Typical Responsibilities Perform hemodynamic monitoring and manage Swan Ganz catheters, arterial lines, and chest tubes. Provide comprehensive patient care in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. Administer medications and manage ventilators for critically ill patients. Assist in CABG recovery and other CVICU-specific procedures.

Qualifications Required: Minimum of 2 years of critical care nursing experience, preferably in Adult ICU, CVICU, or Neuro ICU. Ventilator management and proficiency in arterial line, central line, and chest tube management. Current RN license.

Preferred: Experience in CVICU-specific care, including CABG recovery, CRRT, and Impella. Familiarity with Meditech EMR. Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) and CCRN certification.
