Details 24-bed Medical Cardiology unit Night shift 19:00-07:30 with every other weekend required 36 hours per week over a 13-week assignment RN to patient ratio of 1:5 days and 1:6 nights Cares for post-cath patients including PCI, ICD, PPM, and ablation procedures Utilizes TR band and femoral approach techniques Uses Epic for charting Requirements Active Massachusetts RN license, including conditional licenses accepted AHA BLS certification required ACLS certification required (AHA preferred, Red Cross accepted at some facilities) Minimum 2 years of recent experience with a strong cardiac background Minimum 2 years of experience working as a traveler Must be able to interpret telemetry strips and perform cardiac drips Additional Information Provides direct patient care on a busy medical cardiology unit with a focus on telemetry monitoring and post-cardiac procedure recovery Flu vaccination required during flu season with no religious or medical exemptions allowed Local candidates accepted if permanent residence is within 60 miles of the facility, at a reduced rate Parking is not validated; public transportation or paid public parking lots are available nearby American Traveler Job ID P-773423.
