Details Med/Surg Telemetry unit in a hospital setting Patient ratios of 1:5-6 Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00-7:00) on an every-other-weekend rotation Working December 24th and December 31st required Mandatory floating to MS/Tele units Cerner charting system preferred Requirements Active RN license (MO or Compact) required, in hand at time of consideration BLS certification required Minimum 1 year of telemetry experience required Community hospital experience required Experience with cardiac monitoring, telemetry, and rapid response/code team protocols Skilled in IV therapy, phlebotomy, and peripheral line care/management Must be able to ambulate, reach, and move objects weighing up to and over 20 lbs Additional Information Provide direct patient care on a Med/Surg Telemetry unit including cardiac monitoring and emergency response Required to work 50% of holidays occurring during the contract Facility is open 24/7/365 with potential for rotating shifts and work during inclement weather Routine contact with patients who may have contagious illnesses First-time travelers are welcome to apply Local candidates accepted; those residing within 50 miles are not eligible, those residing 51-74 miles may be offered a local rate Maximum RTO of 10 days, with none permitted during the first week due to orientation American Traveler Job ID P-768335.
