Registered Nurse (RN) - Oncology/BMT Job Description We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Oncology/Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) to join a dynamic medical-surgical and telemetry unit. The ideal candidate will possess advanced knowledge and experience in managing patients with various hematological malignancies.

Key Responsibilities Provide expert nursing care to patients with diagnoses including Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, Acute Myeloid Leukemia, Amyloidosis, and more. Administer chemotherapy and other complex treatments such as autologous, syngeneic, and allogeneic stem cell transplants. Utilize computerized charting systems, specifically EPIC, for documentation and patient management.

Monitor patients using telemetry and interpret dysrhythmias effectively. Administer blood products and manage central and peripheral lines, including PICC lines. Perform feeding tube care and central line sterile dressing changes.

Participate in the use of Rapid Response Teams as necessary.

Qualifications Minimum 1 year of inpatient medical-surgical and hematology oncology experience required. Chemo certification is mandatory. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.

Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) chemotherapy certification is required. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification is preferred. Work Schedule This position offers a 12-hour night shift format (19:00 - 07:30) with variable scheduling based on departmental needs.
