Details Labor and Delivery unit with 100-200 facility births per month Patient ratio of 1:1-2 Epic charting system required Day shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM On-call, weekend, floating, and holiday coverage may be required Requirements Active TX or compact RN license required Minimum 5 years of Labor and Delivery experience required Prior travel nursing experience required Charge nurse experience preferred Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate AWHONN Advanced certification preferred Military certifications accepted; AHA preferred; ARC not accepted Epic charting experience required State issued ID required prior to consideration SSN and date of birth required for consideration Additional Information Provide care across antepartum, labor and delivery, postpartum, and high-risk antepartum settings Skills include fetal monitoring (external and internal), amnioinfusion, vaginal and C-section delivery assistance, and newborn care Experience with medication administration including Pitocin, Magnesium Sulfate, and antihypertensives Support for high-risk deliveries, postpartum hemorrhage, and pregnancy-induced hypertension cases Lactation and breastfeeding support as part of postpartum care RTO requests limited to 5 non-consecutive days, with only one holiday RTO request allowed during the Nov-Jan holiday season All RTO must be approved by management prior to contract signing Candidates residing within 90 miles are considered local and accepted at a lower rate American Traveler Job ID P-771097.
