Job Details Position: Travel Registered Nurse – Med/Surg Tele Location: Columbus, OH 43210 Assignment Type: Travel Nursing Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,940 - $2,040 Schedule: 12-hour rotating shifts; days and nights available Hours per Week: 36 Estimated Duration: 16 weeks Weekends: Variable based on unit needs Floating: Required to other Med/Surg Oncology units Charting System: Epic Orientation: 72 hours Patient Population: Adults and geriatrics Job Requirements Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care experience in Med/Surg, Telemetry, or a related specialty Current, active RN license in hand at time of submission BLS certification required Epic charting experience required Telemetry interpretation and telemetry monitoring experience required Oncology nursing experience preferred, but not required Previous travel nurse experience preferred Experience with infection prevention and patient fall prevention strongly valued ACEN- or CCNE-accredited nursing education preferred Responsibilities Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric oncology patients Monitor telemetry and recognize changes in patient condition promptly Support patients receiving treatment for solid tumor cancers and related medical-surgical needs Maintain a strong focus on infection prevention protocols and fall prevention Administer medications and treatments per nursing standards and unit protocols Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support safe, effective patient care Float to related Med/Surg Oncology units as needed Document thoroughly and accurately in Epic Apply now to join this Columbus, Ohio travel nursing assignment and put your Med/Surg Tele RN skills to work in a rewarding oncology setting.
