Job Details Specialty: Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment Location: Columbus, OH 43210 Duration: 16 weeks Start Date: 11/2/2026 Shift: 12-hour rotating shifts; days or nights based on unit needs Hours: 36 hours per week Orientation: 72 hours Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,940 - $2,040 Charting System: Epic Patient Population: Adults and geriatrics Work Environment: Medical oncology and benign hematology with telemetry monitoring Job Requirements Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in hand at time of submission Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care experience in Med/Surg Tele or a related specialty Current experience in medical-surgical telemetry or a closely related acute care setting BLS certification required Strong telemetry interpretation and cardiac monitoring skills Proficiency with Epic charting preferred Oncology nursing experience preferred, but not required Ability to float to other Med/Surg oncology units as needed Willingness to work variable weekends based on unit needs Education from an ACEN or CCNE-accredited nursing program Responsibilities Provide safe, compassionate bedside care to adult and geriatric patients with complex medical-surgical and oncology needs Monitor telemetry rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition Support patients receiving treatment for solid tumor cancers and related medical-surgical concerns Administer medications and treatments according to clinical standards and unit protocols Promote infection prevention, patient safety, and fall prevention throughout the shift Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to coordinate high-quality care Document accurately and efficiently in Epic Adapt to rotating schedules and float assignments based on department needs Maintain professionalism and responsiveness throughout the credentialing and onboarding process Apply now to start your next Columbus, Ohio nursing job and join a supportive healthcare team today.
