Location: Greenville, NC Setting: Progressive Care / Intermediate Care Unit Shift: 12-hour night shifts Hours per Week: 36 Duration: 13 weeks Start Date: 09/14/2026 Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,020 - $2,130 Openings: 2 Schedule Style: Self-scheduling with rotating weekend expectations Job Requirements Active RN license with compact licensure accepted Minimum 2 years of recent Registered Nurse experience BLS certification through AHA ACLS certification through AHA Ability to read and interpret cardiac strips NIHSS certification or demonstrated competency Must pass an EKG exam prior to start Strong cardiac nursing skills with experience caring for intermediate-acuity patients Ability to meet a local radius requirement of 80 miles Responsibilities Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a busy PCU / intermediate care setting Monitor and assess patients with cardiac and medical diagnoses requiring frequent evaluations Care for patients with conditions such as NSTEMI, acute coronary syndrome, chest pain, CHF, arrhythmias, and post-cardiac intervention needs Administer and titrate cardiac drips as ordered and respond quickly to changes in patient condition Collaborate closely with the charge nurse, nursing assistants, and medical team to support continuity of care Provide care for overflow medical patients with diagnoses such as diabetes, hypertension, pneumonia, sepsis, and GI bleeds Support bedside procedures and advanced cardiac care as needed in a dynamic clinical environment Maintain safe, compassionate, and efficient patient-centered care throughout every shift Why Apply for This North Carolina Nursing Job?
