Details Work in a highly specialized 20-bed Cardiovascular ICU (CVC) Cares for patients undergoing open heart, vascular, and thoracic surgeries Utilizes specialized equipment including intra-aortic balloon pumps, Impella, CRRT, and epicardial pacemakers 12-hour day shifts, schedule varies between 7A-7P 3 shifts per week, 36 guaranteed hours weekly No on-call requirements Requirements Active RN license (GA or Compact) required Minimum 2 years of recent experience in a Cardiac ICU specialty required AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required CCRN and NIHSS certifications preferred Additional Information Provide critical care nursing to complex cardiac, vascular, and thoracic surgical patients Must work 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve) Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible Returning perm staff must have a 2-year break before returning as a traveler RTO must be requested prior to accepting an offer and cannot be requested after American Traveler Job ID P-768491.
