Floating Policy Travelers may be required to float before core staff and may float to other ICUs (MICU, NSICU, CVICU, CICU) or Step Down. Patient Experience Requirements Shall uphold a standard of kindness and compassion in patient care. Required Qualifications Trauma ICU experience (Level I or Level II Trauma Centers) Surgical ICU experience Valid Nursing License Active ACLS and BLS Certifications Desired Skills Looking for team players with positive attitudes and flexibility. Procedures Performed on Unit Intubation Extubation Chest tube placement Central line placement A-line placement Foley placement Bronchoscopy Endoscopy Proning TPA administration Hypertonic medication administration Trach placement EVD/bold placement CRRT/HD Irrigation and debridement Minor surgery Dress Code Required uniform includes all navy or all white attire.
