Details Work in a hospital Emergency Department/Trauma unit Care for critical care, psychiatric, and pediatric patient populations Night shift schedule from 19:00-07:30 Every other weekend required, or based on department needs Rotating holidays with regular staff Uses Epic EMR May float onsite within skill set or to sites within 40 miles if needed Requirements Active WI or compact RN license required Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (AHA) Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience required At least 2 prior travel contracts required Nursys verification required within 30 days prior to start Current license and primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start Experience safely maintaining clinical judgment and documentation for critical care patients Strong team collaboration and clear, timely communication skills Copy of driver's license required for consideration Full SS and DOB required for consideration Additional Information Provide emergency nursing care across a range of critical, psychiatric, and pediatric cases Escalate concerns appropriately and seek support to ensure patient safety Radius rule applies, allowing local candidates at a reduced rate depending on distance from the facility COVID vaccination is not required American Traveler Job ID P-736238.
