Details Work in a mixed-acuity Med/Surg Tele unit (PCU and Med/Surg patients) Night shift schedule (3x12 hours, 19:00-7:30), though rotating day/night scheduling is possible based on department needs Shift assignments reviewed every 4-week scheduling period with no guarantee of consistency Patient ratio of 1:5 Required to float within units of equivalent or lower acuity Uses Epic EMR Requirements Active OH or compact RN license in hand at time of consideration Minimum 2 years of acute care RN experience required, current within the last 12 months and in the specialty applied for Epic EMR experience required BLS certification required ACLS, NIHSS, and OCN certifications preferred Skills required: IV starts, telemetry monitoring, tracheostomy care/management, cardiac monitoring, and dysrhythmia interpretation/management Oncology experience and chemotherapy administration skills preferred but not required BiPAP/CPAP management experience preferred Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program 2 professional references required, with at least 1 from a Manager/Director or formal leadership role; Charge RN acceptable for the second reference; no coworker references accepted Additional Information Provide nursing care to oncology patients in a mixed-acuity Med/Surg Tele setting Candidates must be willing to learn and grow their nursing practice Must complete Ohio BCI and FBI fingerprinting promptly upon accepting an offer, including lifetime background checks Local candidates accepted at the same rate RTO must be submitted with the application and built into the contract, limited to 7 days or less Former employees eligible for travel assignments after 6 months away from the facility Current employees are ineligible for travel assignments at this health system First-time travelers are welcome to apply American Traveler Job ID P-774752.
