Start Date: 11/23/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Join a leading acute-care hospital as an ER Registered Nurse in Charlotte, NC! We are seeking dedicated professionals to provide exceptional care in our Emergency Department (ER). This contract position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on adult patients, including those with STEMI, STROKE, and LEVEL 2 trauma cases.

Minimum Experience Required: 2 years. The unit will accept first-time travelers and locals with a rate difference.

Skills Required: IV Start, Triage, Telemetry, and Conscious Sedation.

Certifications Required: TNCC, ACLS, NIH, MOAB, BLS, and PALS.

Preferred Skills: ENPC and trauma experience.

Job Details: Ratios: Non-Critical: 3:1 (4:1 with hallway when callouts occur); Critical patients: 2:1; Medical boarders in ED: 5:1.

Shift: 12-hour nights; 18:45 - 07:15.

Call Requirement: No call.

Float Requirement: No float.

Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend required.

Patient Diagnoses: Adult patients, including STEMI, STROKE, LEVEL 2 trauma patients; approximately 170 visits per day, 53 rooms/beds.

Unit Systems: PYXIS/EPIC/SBAR.

Orientation: 36 or 48 hours.

Scrubs: Navy Blue.
