Job Title Registered Nurse – Traumatic Brain Injury (Level 2) Location New York, NY Schedule / Job Type Contract | Rotating Shifts (Days, Evenings, Nights) | Weekends, Holidays, On-Call, Callback, and Charge as needed per unit Key Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to adult and pediatric patients recovering from traumatic brain injuries, including those resulting from oncologic surgery, falls, strokes, and motor vehicle incidents Deliver clinical and emotional support to patients and their families throughout the recovery and rehabilitation process Assist patients in regaining independence and learning new skills following serious injury Collaborate as part of an interdisciplinary care team in a state-of-the-art unit Apply critical thinking and flexibility to meet the evolving needs of a complex patient population Serve in a charge nurse capacity as required by unit needs Required Qualifications Active RN License – New York State license required Minimum two (2) years of RN experience Telemetry experience required BLS certification required Recent pediatric nursing experience required Preferred Experience / Skills PALS or PEARs certification preferred Background in medical-surgical or neuro-rehabilitation nursing Experience working within an interdisciplinary team environment Why Join Us Opportunity to work in a brand new, state-of-the-art unit dedicated to traumatic brain injury care Be part of a collaborative, enthusiastic team making a meaningful impact in patients' and families' lives during critical recovery journeys Concentric Healthcare Staffing Job ID 798031.
