Details Level III trauma center with 10 operating rooms Operating Room department supporting diverse surgical specialties including Urology, Neuro, General, GYN, Podiatry, Plastic, Ortho, Dental, and ENT Diverse patient population spanning all ages 1:1 patient ratios Equipment varies by OR service specialty Uses Cerner EHR Sat-Mon shift schedule, 7A-7P Occasional weekend hours required Variable call requirements of 4-5 shifts per month Requirements Active RN license (NM or Compact) required Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS from the American Heart Association Minimum 2 years of OR experience required Must be proficient in Neuro, Ortho, Trauma, Vascular, and OBGYN surgical skills Must score at least 3.2 overall rating on skills checklist Must be comfortable supporting patients and surgeons during significant traumatic injury cases Skilled in procedures ranging from basic, quick lap procedures to complex open abdominal and chest cavity trauma cases RN degree required Additional Information Anticipate and provide necessary instruments, supplies, and equipment for varied surgical cases Must demonstrate competence and confidence in high-acuity trauma surgical settings Facility is a Level III trauma center serving the Four Corners region of New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, and Utah American Traveler Job ID P-778093.
