Details Work in the Women's Care Center/Ob Gyn Combined unit of an acute care hospital 11-bed unit caring for infant, adolescent, adult, pediatric, and geriatric patients Common cases include pregnancy and preterm labor triage/observation, labor care, C-section recovery, postpartum, post-gyne/hysterectomy, and clean medsurg overflow Uses the Paragon EHR system Night shift from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM Every other weekend required On-call responsibilities required Floating required to PCU, ED, or Medsurg units 13-week assignment Requirements Active RN license (NC or Compact) currently in hand Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS, and Intermediate Fetal Monitoring 1-2 years of relevant experience required Additional Information Provide nursing care across the full scope of labor and delivery, postpartum, and gynecological services Facility is a Duke Lifepoint hospital with 154 beds and Joint Commission accreditation Located in Clyde, NC, about 20 miles from Asheville and near the Great Smoky Mountains National Park Candidates must live 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for the travel rate Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the past 12 months Cannot be employed elsewhere full time American Traveler Job ID P-778090.
