Travel Nursing Job Details Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,910-$2,010 Location: Newburgh, Indiana Healthcare Setting: Level II Trauma emergency department Assignment Type: 13-week travel nursing contract Start Date: November 9, 2026 End Date: February 7, 2027 Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Shift Duration: 12-hour variable shifts scheduled between 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 a.m.

Schedule: Weekend evening and overnight coverage; Friday-Sunday or Saturday-Monday scheduling Weekend and Holiday Coverage: Every weekend and every other holiday Orientation: 12 hours Call and Floating: No call and no floating required Emergency Room Registered Nurse Requirements Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Indiana or a valid compact-state license At least 3 years of recent emergency room or emergency department nursing experience Associate degree or nursing certificate required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred Current AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, AHA PALS, and NIHSS certifications Recent Epic electronic health record (EHR) charting experience within the last year Successful completion of a 12-lead EKG and dysrhythmia examination Level II Trauma experience strongly preferred Pediatric emergency care experience preferred Strong communication skills, resilience, adaptability, and the ability to manage change in a high-acuity emergency department Emergency Department RN Responsibilities Assess, triage, and provide timely nursing care to patients presenting with emergency and trauma-related conditions Monitor patient status, recognize changes in condition, and promptly communicate clinical concerns Deliver evidence-based nursing care in a Level II Trauma emergency department Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary healthcare team to support safe, effective patient outcomes Accurately document assessments, interventions, reassessments, and patient responses in Epic Provide compassionate emergency care to adult and pediatric patients while maintaining a calm, professional approach Participate in scheduled weekend and holiday coverage as assigned Apply now for this Emergency Room Registered Nurse travel contract in Newburgh, Indiana, and join a high-performing emergency care team near Evansville.
