Job Details Position: Travel Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse Employment Type: Travel Nursing Location: Columbus, OH 43210 Setting: Progressive Care, Surgical Step-Down, Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Start Date: 11/2/2026 Shift Duration: 12-hour rotating shifts Schedule: Day and night rotation; every other weekend Hours: 36 hours per week Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,940 - $2,040 Orientation: 24 hours Float: May float to other areas as needed Patient Population: Adults and geriatrics Job Requirements Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg Tele, telemetry nursing, or progressive care experience Ability to successfully pass telemetry testing Experience monitoring telemetry patients and responding to cardiac rhythm changes Current BLS and ACLS certifications Active compact or Ohio RN license in hand at time of submission Experience with Epic charting preferred Strong communication skills and the ability to thrive in a rotating schedule ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing education required Responsibilities Provide high-quality nursing care to post-surgical, medical-surgical, and telemetry patients Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond promptly to changes in patient condition Administer medications, manage IV therapy, and perform skilled nursing interventions Support patients with wound care, drains, oxygen therapy, and insulin protocols Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including respiratory therapy, physical therapy, pharmacy, and rapid response support Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure safe, timely communication across the care team Adapt quickly to changing patient needs in a progressive care environment Float within the unit or related areas as assigned Apply now for this Travel Med/Surg Tele RN opportunity in Columbus, Ohio, and join a healthcare team that values skill, flexibility, and patient-centered care.
