Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Sioux City, Iowa.

Job Description & Requirements Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: 11/23/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Sioux City, Iowa Progressive Care Unit. The traveler will provide and manage care for patients as part of an interdisciplinary healthcare team. The assignment supports a progressive care unit with a typical patient ratio of 1:4, with potential for 1:5, and requires floating to the emergency department and other inpatient areas.

Job Details Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week, every other weekend.

Assignment dates: 11/23/202602/22/2027.

Required Qualifications: Minimum of 1 year of experience; active Iowa or compact nursing license; active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; active Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification; active National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification; drivers license.

Preferred Qualifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications from the American Heart Association (AHA) preferred. First-time travelers may be considered.

Float: Float rotation may be required.

Additional Information: Required to float to the emergency department and all inpatient areas within the same discipline. Patient populations and clinical conditions may include congestive heart failure, ablation, angiogram, transcarotid artery revascularization, endovascular aneurysm repair, diabetic ketoacidosis, stroke, pacemaker care, and sepsis.
