Details Work in a Step Down unit within the HVTI service line Potential to float to units J1-2, J33, and the ED to care for the same patient population Day shift (3x12 hours, 7:00-19:30) and night shift (3x12 hours, 19:00-7:30) available, with potential for rotating shifts based on operational needs Required to work at least every other holiday Requirements Active OH or compact RN license required Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required (AHA or American Red Cross) Minimum 12 months of permanent experience in Step Down or related specialty required One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty required, from an assignment within the past 12 months Must complete ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation with acceptable scores COVID-19 and flu vaccinations required, with medical or religious exemptions only Additional Information Provide direct patient care to cardiac and step-down level patients Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate First-time travelers are not accepted for this position Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from their previous end date Nurses are currently exempt from the facility's nicotine-free requirement American Traveler Job ID P-770614.
