Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Hematology / Oncology for a travel nursing job in Torrance, California.

Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Hematology / Oncology Discipline: RN Start Date: 11/30/2026 Duration: 8 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Medical Surgical Oncology Floor Torrance. This travel nursing assignment supports adult patients with oncological and hematology diagnoses in an outpatient oncology setting. The role provides chemotherapy and immunotherapy services while maintaining a patient ratio of up to 1:6.

Job Details Schedule: Day shifts, 8 hours per shift, 40 hours per week.

Required Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of outpatient oncology experience; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN); Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA); chemotherapy certification through the Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) or ONCC; required experience with the Epic charting system; demonstrated proficiency in chemotherapy administration, immunotherapy, port and central-line care, blood and blood product administration, intravenous therapy, infusion pump management, patient and family education, recognition and management of treatment side effects, and oncology care.

Preferred Qualifications: Previous charge experience.

Additional Information: Care is provided to adult patients with oncological and hematology diagnoses. Chemotherapy and immunotherapy services are provided. Expected patient ratio is 1:6. Phlebotomy support is available. Weekend coverage and on-call responsibilities are not required. Navy blue scrubs are provided. Orientation includes 8 hours. Assignment dates are 11/30/2026 through 01/25/2027.
