This position involves caring for critically ill patients in a fast-paced environment, providing extensive support and specialized nursing care. Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult and pediatric patients aged 15 and older with various trauma injuries, including sepsis, stroke, ARDS, MODS, COPD, and cardiac arrest. Administer and titrate medications such as vasopressors, paralytics, narcotics, sedation, and antiarrhythmics. Monitor patient vital signs and responses, utilizing advanced cardiac monitoring systems. Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individual care plans. Assist in performing procedures including CVPs, IABP, Impella, Arterial lines, Swans, and ICP monitoring. Participate in real-time training for equipment use and monitoring as required.

Unit Information Unit Type: Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

Number of Beds: 18 Nurse to Patient Ratios: 1:1-2 for ICU and 1:4 for Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Fast-paced environment with a focus on critical thinking and teamwork.

Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of experience in an ICU setting.

Current certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS. Ability to read and interpret cardiac monitor strips. Strong critical thinking skills and a positive attitude are essential for success in this role. Must adhere to strict dress code requirements while providing patient care.

Scheduling and Orientation Shift Length: 12 hours, Night Shifts.

Weekend Requirement: 4 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule period. Mandatory participation in a unit-specific orientation consisting of 2 shifts. Self-scheduling options available, managed according to unit needs. Additional Notes Candidates must comply with a radius rule of 50 miles, and additional time off (RTO) must be disclosed upfront. Further requests for RTO will not be approved after submission.
