Employment Type: Travel Nursing Location: Columbus, Ohio Duration: 13 weeks Start Date: 10/26/2026 Shift: 12-hour day shifts Hours Per Week: 36 Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,360-$2,480 Charting System: Epic Setting: High-acuity neonatal float pool with floating expectations Job Requirements Active Ohio RN license or compact RN license in hand BLS and NRP required; PALS required per facility expectations Minimum 2 years of total Level III/IV NICU nursing experience At least 1 year of recent Level IV NICU experience Epic charting experience required Comfortable floating to other critical care and med-surg areas as needed Two professional references required at submission, including one manager or supervisor reference Experience with complex neonatal care, including trach care and high parent involvement, is strongly preferred Responsibilities Provide safe, compassionate, and expert nursing care to neonates, infants, and pediatric patients Manage high-acuity NICU patients with complex respiratory, developmental, and medical needs Perform and support treatments such as ventilator management, IV therapy, feeding support, thermoregulation, and tracheostomy care Monitor patient status closely and respond appropriately to changes in condition Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and the interdisciplinary care team to support positive patient outcomes Float to other critical care and med-surg units when assigned, maintaining flexibility and a team-first mindset Document accurately and efficiently in Epic Support families through patient education, communication, and compassionate bedside care Location Highlights Columbus, Ohio offers the best of both worlds: a vibrant urban setting with a welcoming, community-focused feel.
