Details Work in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) caring for adult patients Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts, 19:00-07:30, 36 hours per week Every other weekend coverage required Float required to Med-Surg/Tele and Tele units, within scope of practice Uses Accudose medication system, Cerner documentation system, and SBAR communication system Requirements Active RN license (CT or Compact) required Current certifications: ACLS and BLS required; CPI, NIHSS, and TNCC preferred Minimum 3 years of ICU experience required Community hospital experience required Cerner charting system experience preferred Experience with interpretation and management of dysrhythmias Experience with Pulmonary Artery Line/Swan Ganz monitoring Experience with central line care and management Skilled in starting and maintaining IVs Experience caring for ventilated patients and ventilator management Experience titrating cardiac and vasoactive drips Additional Information Responsibilities include cardiac monitoring, emergency response, and infection prevention with isolation precautions/PPE Unit accepts first-time travelers Blue scrubs required Candidates within 75 miles are considered local and accepted at a lower rate American Traveler Job ID P-779878.
