Start Date: 11/30/2026 Duration: 14 weeks Join a leading acute-care hospital as an ER Registered Nurse in Randallstown, MD, and make a difference in the Emergency Department (ER). This is a contract position offering an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on patient care. As an ER Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced setting. The Emergency Department averages approximately 120 visits per day and treats patients across all age groups, from neonatal to geriatric. You will support two locked Behavioral Health units with a patient ratio of 1:6, ensuring a safe and effective treatment environment.

Key Responsibilities: Deliver exceptional nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department. Float between like units as needed to meet facility demands. Participate in holiday coverage and adhere to time-off requests as per contract guidelines. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care.

Requirements: 3 years of Emergency Department experience required; may consider 2 years of Level I or Level II trauma experience. ACLS, BLS, NIH, and PALS certifications required. Prophecy Relias Advanced Emergency Department assessment required. 4 hours of annual stroke continuing education required. CEN certification preferred. Maryland or compact RN license required upon submission.

Additional Information: This is a 54-bed Emergency Department recognized as a Primary Stroke Center with Gold Plus recognition from the American Heart Association.
