Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Cath Lab for a travel nursing job in Springfield, Illinois.

Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Discipline: RN Start Date: 11/23/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Registered Nurse, Cardiac Cath Lab. This position supports adult and geriatric patients in a five-room cardiac catheterization unit with an average daily census of 25.

Responsibilities include diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures, procedural sedation monitoring, dysrhythmia management, and related clinical care.

Job Details Schedule: 3x12 day shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.

Required Qualifications: Minimum of 1 year of experience Active Illinois nursing license in hand Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Interventional cardiac catheterization laboratory experience Experience with adult diagnostic catheterizations, interventional catheterizations, left heart catheterization, right heart catheterization, and pulmonary artery line/Swan-Ganz monitoring Experience administering and monitoring procedural sedation Experience interpreting and managing dysrhythmias Cerner charting experience Additional Information: On-call availability is required as needed. Weekend coverage includes 23 weekends per contract. The role supports adult and geriatric patient populations. The unit includes five procedure rooms and an average daily census of 25. The position includes diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures. Orientation includes 36 hours. Seasonal influenza vaccination is required; medical and religious exemptions are accepted. First-time travelers are accepted.
