Exciting Opportunity for RN - Cardiac Cath Lab Job Description: - Join a dynamic and innovative CCL/EP Lab team - Location: San Antonio, TX - Unit Highlights: - 110 Beds with 4 rooms dedicated to CCL/EP Lab - Enjoy collaboration with a skilled team: - Day Shift: 1 CNC, 5 RNs, 8 Cath/EP Techs - Night Shift: Call Team of 1 Nurse, 2 Techs - Patient Ratios: 1:1 for optimal care - Cutting-edge equipment: 3 Siemens units and the latest Philips technology - Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems: Meditech, Cardio Lab, Mac Lad - What We're Looking For: - Must Have Skills: - Experience in monitoring Afib/Afluter ablation cases independently - Proficiency in scrubbing Afib/Afluter Ablations and Permanent Pacemakers (PPM) - Preferred Skills: - Background in CCL and EP - Versatile to work in both EP and Cath Lab (Ablations, PPM, Watchman, LHC, CHC, PCI) - Typical Procedures Performed: - Afib/Afluter Ablations - Pacemakers, Watchman’s, PPM - LHC, CHC, PCI, Impella’s, Balloon Pumps, Peripheral cases - Thrombectomies, IR procedures (perma-cath, peg tubes) - Ideal Candidate Personality Traits: - Flexible schedule with a willingness to stay until cases are complete - Open to shift flexibility (8, 10, 12 Hr shifts; Lab hours from 0600 to 2200) - Positive attitude and adaptability - Required Certifications: - RCIS, RCES, ACLS, BLS - Additional Details: - Floating between EP and Cath Lab as needed - Days on call: If working on EP side, 2 weekends per month and flexibility to stay late during the week. If focused on CCL, be within 30 minutes of the hospital and take 11 days of call per month. - Dress Code: - Scrub Color/Attire provided by the hospital - Attendance Policy: - Timeliness is crucial; please call in at least 2 hours before your shift if unable to attend.
