Start Date: 11/30/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Join a leading healthcare provider as a PCU Registered Nurse in Beaver Dam, WI. This contract position offers a unique opportunity to work in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU)/Step Down, providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic environment. As a PCU Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional nursing care to patients in a step-down unit. You will work 12-hour shifts from 06:30 to 19:00, with a commitment to providing support during weekends and holidays as needed. Your expertise in managing patients transitioning from intensive care will be invaluable in this role.

Key Responsibilities: Provide nursing care to patients in the Progressive Care Unit. Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing care plans as necessary. Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. Educate patients and families on health management and recovery plans.

Requirements: At least 2 years of RN experience in med/surg and PCU required. Occasional ICU patients may be seen. If a first-time traveler, must have at least 3 years of experience in a hybrid unit. Current RN license required. BLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA only). Traveler will be required to pass a telemetry exam prior to assignment start. GLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
