Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Marquette, Michigan.

Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Start Date: 12/07/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Registered Nurse, Medical Surgical Floor, Marquette, Michigan. The Registered Nurse provides care for adult observation patients with a variety of medical, cardiac, neurological, and post-procedural needs. The position supports a collaborative observation unit with cardiac monitoring and an approximate patient ratio of 1:5.

Job Details Required Qualifications: Current Registered Nurse license; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification; National Institute of Health Stroke Scale competency; Telemetry/Electrocardiogram competency; at least 1 year of medical-surgical experience.

Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN); telemetry experience; Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification; Emergency Nurses Pediatric Course (ENPC) certification.

Schedule: Night shifts consisting of 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. Weekend and holiday work is required.

Float: Float rotation may be required.

Additional Information: The role serves adult observation patients, including those presenting with chest pain, asthma exacerbation, transient ischemic attack, abdominal pain, urinary concerns, blood glucose concerns, deep vein thrombosis or pulmonary embolism, cellulitis, post-procedural monitoring needs, and minor trauma. The unit uses cardiac monitoring and provides orientation on a bi-weekly basis. Required scrub color is galaxy blue.
