Job Title Registered Nurse – Interventional Radiology (23-Hour Observation) Location New York, NY | Acute Care Schedule / Job Type Contract | 4x10-hour night shifts, Monday–Thursday | No weekends, no call Key Responsibilities Provide pre-procedural preparation and post-procedural recovery care for interventional radiology patients across the lifespan, serving both inpatient and outpatient populations Monitor and care for patients boarding overnight pre- or post-procedure in a 23-hour observation setting Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced, high-energy diagnostic imaging environment Support patients undergoing CT scans, MRIs, Nuclear Medicine scans, X-rays, and ultrasounds Apply critical thinking and strong communication skills to assess and respond to patient needs throughout the care continuum Maintain compliance with all required certifications, including BLS (American Heart Association) and ACLS (American Heart Association) Required Qualifications Active New York State RN license (required) Minimum 2 years of Medical/Surgical nursing experience Telemetry experience required BLS certification – American Heart Association only ACLS certification – American Heart Association only No prior Interventional Radiology experience required Preferred Experience / Skills Experience with GI post-procedural care Background in a Level 1 Trauma Center or similarly high-acuity environment Team-oriented, flexible, and organized with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting Why Join Us Opportunity to work in an exciting diagnostic imaging environment within a Level 1 Trauma Center, caring for a diverse patient population across the lifespan Consistent schedule with no weekends and no call, offering a predictable work-life balance Concentric Healthcare Staffing Job ID 800196.
