Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Start Date: 11/09/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) - Neuro MedSurg Acute | Travel | Assignment Overview Join our Neuro MedSurg Acute team as a Travel RN, providing care to a diverse range of patients. Our ideal candidate has experience in level 1 trauma and a background in neuro units. This role requires flexibility and adeptness in handling a variety of patient needs, including but not limited to stroke, spine surgery, and brain injury cases.

Assignment Details Start Date: 8/4/2025 Shift: 12-hour nights Every other weekend and holiday shifts required Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2565 (negotiable)

Charting System: EPIC 54-bed unit with nurse to patient ratios of 1:4-5 (day) or 1:5-6 (night)

Titrate drips: Heparin drip based on PTT experience required Floating as needed within the general unit Two days of orientation provided Responsibilities Provide nursing care for a variety of neuroscience patients Titrate and manage drips effectively Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team Engage in patient management and care planning Support patient rounds and update patient records Qualifications Required: Active IL license or application in process BLS (AHA) and NIHSS certifications Experience in level 1 trauma centers Previous travel nursing experience Experience in neuro unit nursing Job Type Travel PEL/VIP Job ID 65723438.
