Travel Nursing Job Details Assignment Type: 13-week travel Registered Nurse contract Location: Maryville, Tennessee Start Date: November 2, 2026 End Date: February 1, 2027 Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,710-$1,800 Schedule: 3 shifts per week, 36 hours per week Shift: 12-hour nights, 6:45 p.m. to 7:15 a.m.

Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend Patient Population: Adult and geriatric patients Typical Night Shift Ratio: 1 nurse to 6 patients Charting System: Epic electronic medical record Float Expectation: Float to other qualified units or campuses as needed Travel RN Job Requirements Active Tennessee Registered Nurse (RN) license At least 1 year of recent Med/Surg Tele nursing experience Previous travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers will not be considered At least 1 year of Epic experience required Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required Previous charge nurse experience required Demonstrated experience managing a 1:6 patient assignment Ability to work night shifts, every other weekend, and float when needed Strong telemetry monitoring, patient assessment, prioritization, and patient education skills Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a Med/Surg Tele unit Monitor and care for patients with stroke or TIA, seizures, syncope, pneumonia, chest pain, dialysis needs, acute kidney failure, post-cardiac catheterization status, respiratory failure, encephalopathy, CHF, and sepsis Interpret telemetry and dysrhythmias and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition Manage central lines, PICC lines, ports, peripheral IVs, chest tubes, feeding tubes, colostomies, and ileostomies Perform or assist with continuous bladder irrigation, peritoneal dialysis care, oxygen therapy, non-invasive airway management, and high-flow nasal cannula support Administer blood products, insulin, heparin, and non-titrated cardiac drips according to established protocols Use rapid response and code team resources to support timely intervention Maintain accurate documentation in Epic while promoting patient safety, effective communication, and an exceptional patient experience Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and float to qualified areas based on patient census and staffing needs Apply now to join this Tennessee travel nursing opportunity and make a difference as a Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse in Maryville.
