The role requires current emergency department experience, strong clinical assessment skills, and multiple emergency and life-support certifications.

Job Details Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.

Required Qualifications: At least 1 year of current hospital emergency department experience Basic Life Support (BLS) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) National Institutes of Health (NIH) certification Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC); Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) is accepted in lieu of Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI)

Blue Card Preferred Qualifications: Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) Certified Pediatric Emergency Nurse (CPEN) United States intravenous (IV) competency Pediatric emergency department experience Additional Information: Assignment dates: 12/07/2026 through 03/08/2027 Patient ratios are generally 4:1 and may increase to 5:1 during surges. Common procedures include port access, intravenous starts, venipuncture, nasal washes, point-of-care testing, electrocardiograms, and Foley catheter placement.
