Job Title Travel RN – Emergency Department Location Wilson, NC | Acute Care Schedule / Job Type Contract | 13 Weeks | Days, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Expected 36 hours/week | Every other weekend Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department serving a diverse patient population including adult, geriatric, and pediatric patients Assess, monitor, and treat patients presenting with conditions such as respiratory distress, overdose, CHF, dialysis-related issues, and hypertension Operate GE monitors and standard ED equipment in a 26-bed emergency department Maintain accurate and timely documentation using the Meditech EHR system Adhere to patient ratios of 1:4–5, adjusted based on acuity, and float to like assignments as needed Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver safe, high-quality emergency care Required Qualifications Active RN license with Associates of Nursing degree or higher Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NIHSS Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel consideration Preferred Experience / Skills Prior experience with Meditech EHR Experience with a broad patient population including geriatric, adult, and pediatric patients Team-oriented, engaged, and positive attitude with strong interpersonal skills Why Join Us Work at a Joint Commission Accredited facility offering a full spectrum of services including cardiac care, orthopedics, surgical services, and more, located in a convenient area approximately 45 miles east of Raleigh with easy access to major universities and coastal destinations Rapid onboarding process available for qualified candidates with an immediate start need Concentric Healthcare Staffing Job ID 798190.
