Details Critical Care Float Pool unit within a hospital setting Floats across multiple ICU environments including neuro/trauma SICU, MICU, CPS/VICU, CCU, PCCU, and ICU/PCC patients in the ED and PACU awaiting bed placement Day shift schedule, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM Every other weekend required Rotating holiday coverage required 48-hour work weeks accepted for interested candidates Requirements Active NY RN license required AHA or RQI issued certifications required Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience required Epic EMR experience required Level I trauma center experience preferred Experience floating to a variety of ICU units highly desired Previous travel nursing experience required Must pass a competency test within 24 hours of consideration, with 2 attempts allowed Minimum 1 supervisor or manager reference within the past year (charge nurse references not accepted) No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months US Social Security Number required (Canadian SIN not accepted) Medical exemption required for flu declination (personal or religious exemptions not accepted)
