Travel Nursing Job Details Location: Cleveland, Ohio Assignment Type: 13-week travel nurse contract Start Date: November 20, 2026 End Date: February 19, 2027 Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,360–$2,480 Schedule: 3 shifts per week, 36 hours per week Shift Duration: 12-hour rotating shifts Shift Times: Day shifts approximately 7:00 a.m.–7:30 p.m. or night shifts approximately 7:00 p.m.–7:30 a.m.

Healthcare Setting: Cardiac stepdown unit, with potential to float to comparable units and the Emergency Department to care for the same patient population Holiday Requirement: Travelers must work at least every other holiday Cardiac Stepdown RN Requirements Current Registered Nurse (RN) license At least 1 year of combined permanent experience in cardiac stepdown or a closely related specialty Permanent Ohio RN license or compact-state license in hand at the time of submission Active BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross Recent professional reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty Successful completion of required ECG rhythm recognition and medication-safety assessments during orientation Ability to adapt to rotating day and night shifts, floating needs, and operational scheduling changes Cardiac Stepdown Registered Nurse Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients recovering from cardiac, cardiovascular, and surgical procedures Perform focused cardiac assessments, recognize changes in patient condition, and promptly escalate concerns Interpret and monitor ECG rhythms while maintaining strong clinical awareness of cardiac complications Administer medications and treatments safely in accordance with established clinical standards Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, therapists, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team Support safe patient transitions, accurate clinical documentation, and effective shift-to-shift handoffs Float to designated units, including the Emergency Department, when needed to care for patients with a similar clinical profile Apply now for this Cardiac Stepdown RN travel contract in Cleveland, Ohio, and join a dedicated cardiovascular care team.
