Employment Type: Travel RN Location: Albany, Georgia Shift: 12-hour nights, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM Hours: 36 hours per week Contract Length: 17 weeks Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,800 - $1,890 Charting System: MEDITECH Unit Size: 44 beds Orientation: General orientation plus unit-specific training Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend Floating: Required to other acute care areas as needed Job Requirements Active RN license At least 1 year of Med/Surg nursing experience 1 prior travel assignment required BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) NIHSS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) Comfortable caring for a 1:5 patient ratio, with occasional 1:6 assignments MEDITECH experience preferred, but not required Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and every other weekend Strong adaptability, clinical judgment, and teamwork skills in a busy acute care setting Responsibilities Provide safe, high-quality care to Med/Surg patients with varying acuity levels Perform comprehensive assessments, develop care plans, and monitor patient progress Administer medications and treatments according to established nursing protocols Collaborate with physicians, nursing assistants, and interdisciplinary team members to support positive patient outcomes Document patient care accurately in the MEDITECH charting system Respond to changing patient conditions and escalate concerns appropriately Support unit flow by assisting with floating assignments and patient holds when needed Deliver compassionate bedside care while maintaining a strong focus on safety and efficiency Apply now to start your next Travel Med/Surg Registered Nurse opportunity in Albany, Georgia.
