Details Rotates through Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Nursery units L&D unit has 8 labor beds; Postpartum unit has 18 beds Cares for laboring mothers, assists with deliveries, and provides immediate newborn and postpartum care Uses Meditech computerized charting system Uses GE/Centricity fetal monitoring system Variable shift schedule with both day and night shifts possible 12-hour shifts totaling 36 hours weekly following the first week of orientation Scheduled on-call required at least once per month for a 12-hour block No guarantee of hours or shift preference Requirements Active Hawaii RN license required by start of assignment BLS and NRP certification required STABLE and Advanced Fetal Monitoring certifications recommended Minimum 3 years of Labor and Delivery experience required Additional Information Must report to Employee Health 48-72 hours prior to assignment start for an in-person appointment at the facility Candidates should plan to arrive in Hawaii the Thursday before a Monday start to report to Employee Health that Friday morning COVID-19 vaccination compliance required American Traveler Job ID P-778977.
