A leading acute-care hospital located in Asheville, North Carolina, is seeking a dedicated Travel RN for the Progressive Care Unit (PCU). As a Travel RN in the Progressive Care Unit, you will be part of a dynamic team in a 20-bed inpatient overflow unit that caters to mixed levels of care, including medical surgical and step-down patients. The unit operates with a patient ratio of 1:5 to 1:6, depending on the level of care required. With a focus on telemetry monitoring, all patients are hardwired to bedside monitors when indicated, utilizing Cerner as the electronic medical record (EMR) system.

Day Shift Staff: 1 charge RN, 4 RNs, 2 CNAs Night Shift Staff: 1 charge RN, 4 RNs, 2 CNAs Typical Hiring Profile: Must Have: Telemetry competency, Progressive Care experience Preferred: Recent progressive care experience Best Personality Fit: Candidates should possess a positive attitude, be patient experience-focused, kind, compassionate, and a team player who works well with others.

Required Certifications: BLS and ACLS Dress Code: Navy and/or white top, navy bottom, all white attire.
