Details Cardiac Telemetry unit within a hospital setting Cares for MS, MS/Tele, and Tele patients, including post-MI and pre/post cardiac surgery patients Patient ratio of 1:4-5 Day shift schedule, 3x12 hours, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM Floating required to all care areas as needed Every other weekend required No on-call requirement May require holiday coverage participation Requirements Active WI or compact RN license required BLS and ACLS certifications required; NIHSS preferred Minimum 2 years of cardiac/telemetry nursing experience required Epic charting experience required Experience with interpretation and management of dysrhythmias Experience with IV insulin protocols, feeding tube care, renal failure, and pre/post hemodialysis management Experience with IV therapy, chest tubes, nasal cannulas, and wound care IMC experience preferred Additional Information Provide direct care for cardiac and telemetry patients including dysrhythmia monitoring and post-surgical management Navy blue scrubs required Must be clean-shaven to ensure proper mask seal for respirator fit testing; CAPRs and PAPRs are not provided or permitted First-time travelers are welcome to apply Candidates residing within 70 miles of the facility are considered local and will not be accepted Clinicians may not work past 1 year as a traveler at this facility; a 6-month break is required before returning American Traveler Job ID P-777960.
