About the Role We are seeking an experienced Senior Operations Manager / Deputy Divisional Operations Manager to provide senior operational leadership within a busy NHS healthcare environment. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced healthcare operations professional to oversee medical services, manage operational performance and support senior divisional leadership during a temporary management vacancy. Key Responsibilities Provide day-to-day operational leadership across medical services.

Directly manage and support Service Managers. Oversee patient flow, waiting lists, access targets and service delivery. Lead and coordinate RTT and DM01 performance management.

Monitor operational performance and implement improvement plans. Manage operational pressures, risks and escalations. Support service improvement and quality initiatives.

Work closely with senior divisional and clinical leadership teams. Ensure compliance with NHS performance standards and organisational policies. Deliver agreed operational projects and performance objectives.

Essential Requirements Significant senior operational management experience within the NHS or a similar healthcare setting. Previous experience managing clinical services across multiple specialties. Proven experience line-managing Service Managers or equivalent.

Strong working knowledge of NHS RTT and DM01 performance standards.

Experience managing patient pathways, waiting lists and operational pressures. Demonstrable experience delivering performance improvements. Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. *Rates depend on experience and client requirements
