Exciting Opportunity for a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department - Nights Job Description: - Take charge as a Registered Nurse in the fast-paced Emergency Room, providing exceptional care to patients. - Utilize the Nursing Process in alignment with the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies. - Demonstrate your critical thinking skills and scientific judgment while anticipating and planning for safe patient care delivery. - Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing education and training. - Delegate patient care priorities based on the experience and education of available staff. - Provide direction and supervision to assigned personnel delivering patient care. - Enjoy the thrill of working in a Trauma Level III Certified facility, with responsibilities including: - Stroke and STEMI receiving. - Floating to various areas as needed. - Required qualifications include: - Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in an emergency setting. - BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications. - Valid Arizona Nursing License. - Experience with Cerner EMR is preferred. - Be ready to work the NIGHT shift from 7 PM to 7:30 AM, with dedicated 12-hour shifts.
