Details Operating Room unit at a Level 1 Trauma teaching hospital Night shift, 3x12 hours, 6:30 PM-7:00 AM Weekend and holiday coverage may be required based on unit needs Requirements Active OH or compact RN license in hand at time of consideration Current certifications: BLS and NIHSS Minimum 2 years of experience required Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program Required experience with DaVinci Xi Robot and Liver Transplant procedures Preferred experience in Level 1 Trauma settings Preferred experience with eye procedures 2 professional references required, with at least 1 from a manager/director or supervisor and the second from a charge RN or above; no coworker references accepted Additional Information Provide perioperative nursing care across a broad range of surgical specialties including general surgery, gynecology, orthopedics, neurosurgery, plastics, urology, ENT, and transplant procedures Experience with robotic-assisted surgeries and endoscopic procedures is highly valued Must complete Ohio BCI and FBI fingerprinting promptly after accepting an offer due to strict compliance timelines RTO must be submitted and built into the contract, limited to 7 days or less Locals are accepted at the same rate Former employees are eligible for a travel assignment once they have been away from the facility for 6 months or more Current employees are ineligible to be hired as a traveler at this health system First-time travelers are not preferred for this position American Traveler Job ID P-781641.
