The successful candidate will provide high-quality emergency care to patients in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Assess and triage patients in the emergency department. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Utilize advanced medical technology and equipment to facilitate patient care. Maintain clear and accurate patient records using electronic medical record (EMR) systems. Participate in patient and family education. Assist in managing emergency protocols and procedures.

Requirements Minimum of 2 years of experience in an emergency room setting.

Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC. Strong clinical skills and critical thinking abilities. Ability to work effectively in a high-stress environment. Work Schedule This position requires availability for night shifts, specifically from 6 PM to 6:30 AM, and will involve every-other-weekend shifts. Flexibility to float to various locations within the region may be required. Unit Information Emergency Room with 33 beds and 2 trauma bays. Patient volume ranges from 125 to 140 patients per day. Staff-to-patient ratio is approximately 3-4:1. 24/7 access to respiratory therapy and an IV team to support patient care. Patient security and monitoring staff available at all times.

Additional Information Candidates must have completed at least one previous travel assignment. A one-day orientation specific to the emergency department will be provided. Scrubs are navy blue (top and bottom).
